before T.I came up with his T.I. vs. T.I.P. album in 2007 and publicly introduce the dark side of him, T.I.P, i already got my own alter ego, stankonia.

big boi and andré 3000 (the outkast) used it (the word stankonia) as the name of their album in the year 2000, and they have their own definiton of it:

“Stankonia” is the name of a fictional land at “the centre of the earth, seven light years below sea level”, which is “the place from which all ‘funky thangs’ come” …

but, my version of stankonia, is more like the T.I.P of T.I, is the dark side of me. realize that explicitly there are always double sides of a coin, and also there are two main characters in people i’ve seen (the good and the bad of course), therefore i name it, stankonia.

my girl (well.. actually she is no longer mine ) used to be freaked out, when i first explained to her about this alter-ego-thing. she said that i was so awkward, naming my own (bad) personality. but my thing was like it’s good if i can identify my own character (personality - whateva), and try to do somehing with it.

i know this bad character is really not good, and i’m not really proud of it. what i’m still working on right now is giving it less space in my life, and give (much) more space to stenlyssimo - the good character of me

now, if you think that i’m a geek by naming my own persona (just like my girl - was), it’s OK for me. i have no right to forbid anyone to judge me.
